Benchmark Hideaway Campground

This campground has new owners and is now called Benchmark Hideaway. It's very quaint, with each campsite quite secluded from the other sites. The owner is very nice. It's fairly well maintained with gravel spots. My site was not quite level, but thankfully there was some wood on the site that I could combine with my chocks to get my camper level. Electric and water worked well, but the sewer on my site was set up weird. There is a tube connected to the pipe, so I had to connect my hose at a weird angle and it doesn't fit snugly into the pipe. My phone had 4G but was pretty slow, thankfully the wifi was fairly fast. It disconnected once in a while but that's common at campgrounds.

Convenient to Middletown, only about 10 minutes down the highway, and not far from great hiking spots like Minnewaska (about a 30 minute drive).
