City owned campground. No reservations. Nice and quiet. Seems like the local get away spot. Spots are not real level. Toilet / shower house two thumbs down. It was great for a overnight on our way west
g4styk would stay here again

Stayed here to explore Route 66 and go kayaking. This lake is a gem and popular for bass/catfish fishing. Sites are tucked among mostly oak trees, some level, some not, and all are dirt with a bit of gravel and vary in length/width, with many accommodating long rigs (we have a 32' travel trailer). Sites are first-come, first-serve with payment on the honor system in a drop box (cash or check) (you can reserve multiple sites through the city office). Each site has water, 50/30 amp, picnic tables, and BBQ pits (some also have fire rings) with restrooms onsite, although they were locked during our time here due to COVID-19. Our site's 30 electrical plug was upside down so we had to use an adapter. There is an RV dump in section C.
Easily accessible off Hwy 44 turnpike and close to the town of Chandler for groceries or eats.
