I'm not sure what was going on when we arrived on Friday June 18th, 2021 but all of the sites marked as "non-reservable" first come, first served sites had reservation tags on them for up to 3 days in the future. I'm not sure what was going on when we arrived on Friday June 18th, 2021 but all of the sites marked as "non-reservable" first come, first served sites had reservation tags on them for up to 3 days in the future. We couldn't get a FCFS site. See attached photo of campsite map where the Circle-X icon indicates non-reservable sites. Plus, campers were packed in like cordwood. We skipped this State Park and went to a nearby county park.

Overall Rating
Been here for so far 3 nights. Nice park hosts do a great job of getting you to your site and letting you know the boundaries of you site. Restrooms and showers were very clean and well maintained. They were VERY warm. Park has a good amount of hiking areas.

The campground host was one of the nicest hosts I have ever encountered. There were no fireworks at the park which is a first for us. What a relief! The host said she would put a stop to any fireworks at the park because they are against the law. She was very helpful in that she took us to our site and directed us as to the position we... more
The campground host was one of the nicest hosts I have ever encountered. There were no fireworks at the park which is a first for us. What a relief! The host said she would put a stop to any fireworks at the park because they are against the law. She was very helpful in that she took us to our site and directed us as to the position we're were to park. We have discovered that we like the outer sites best, otherwise, your front door is facing your neighbor's front door. We have never encountered this. There is no water at the sites, but there are faucets around to get water.

Overall Rating
No full hookups but do have water and electric. Lake views . fishing, and boating. They have several trails. The campground hosts are very helpful. No WiFi and cell service is weak. The campground is clean and well kept and has new rest rooms and showers.
