Stayed over Labor Day 2016 in a small RV. Flat site, well maintained - puddles but not bad. Room for our awning. Clean firepit and picnic table. Outhouse was very clean, smelled as good as it can, toilet paper for everybody all weekend!
Very quiet over the weekend. One generator in the campground, but it was off during quiet hours and really only on during meal times (10p-8a). Could hear the North Fork Sauk River babbling away overnight (no river views from our site, but could access river from boater launch). Site 1 by the road, but it's out there on the Mountain Scenic Loop Byway, so not a lot of road traffic.
Great access to hiking and midway between Darrington and Granite Falls, just what we were looking for a rustic, relaxing holiday weekend.
FYI online transaction fee $9 in addition to rate
