We drove to Beaver Creek off of US219. That’s the way to go to Riverside Campground but not Beaver Creek. Beaver Creek is best accessed by WV 39 and WV21.
There is plenty of restaurants, petrol, and an IGA (grocery store) in Marlington as well as access to the Greenbrier River Trail.
Beaver Creek is a shady campground. We felt we had plenty of privacy at our campfire as well as when our friends hosted. I will admit that the dump station was difficult to access. The bathhouse was clean and near our site, but several sites were a long walk
The staff was very accommodating to our needs and the firewood and ice were a good price.
We camped in a 30 ft Class A. Our friends camped in a 35 ft fifth wheel as well as a 32 ft Class A

Watoga State Park is one of the only parks in WV that had plenty of things to do. They have a pool, creek access (everywhere), lodge with gift shop, CCC museum, plenty of hiking, and WiFi available at the Lodge, Beaver Creek, and Riverside Campground. Fishing is encouraged at the dam and fly sighing is common along the stream. The sites at Beaver Creek were close together and there were no “right” or “wrong” ways. Our biggest issue is you have to go through the state park, exit, then enter the park again to get to the campground. The dump station is in someone’s site (see photo). The spaces were clean and wide, but I would definitely not recommend visiting with very large 5th wheels, class A big rigs, or long (+25ft) trailers. The restrooms with hot showers were recently renovated and terrific. A single washer and dryer are available using coils. The Lodge restroom was not as nice not as large. The sites by the road (heading towards the back of the campground) was extremely dusty so anytime someone passed by, the dust would cover everything. The teenagers in the campground office were very friendly, but I would have liked a map. Our site had electricity, but make sure to fill up with water ahead of time. Also, gas is very infrequent outside of the park. We visited a place called The Levels Depot outside of Seebert which used the old fashioned machines to pump gas.

There was NO cell signal, but WiFi was very strong at the locations listed above.
