Easy check in, Nice level pull thru sites with a row of back ins along the river/highway/rail. We heard a few trains but none during the night.
I wish we’d been able to stay two nights to have had time to visit Garnet Ghost Town but alas, we’ll visit again!

We got lucky with one spot left to fit our big rig, but she was going to offer boondocking if not. We got in easily with no problems. It is a beautiful well maintained campground with friendly staff, nestled in the side of a mountain (but not hard to get to), with a river flowing right by it. Other campers were friendly. It was the perfect spot for us to stop for one night but I would absolutely stay longer if I could.

Most sites are pull throughs which made it easy for us to stay connected for the night. The grounds were well maintained as were the facilities and the staff was very sweet.
Would def recommend in the future! The river was too high and fast to play in but I imagine it would be a great place to hang later in the season if it went down.

We have stayed twice in the past month. Once going north and south. Owners are fantastic! Grounds are very well kept. Didn’t use facilities.
Definitely would return if in the area.
It is south of the town of Clinton, MT.

Nice sized lodge with rooms if you’re not camping. Only complaints would be road noise, the occasional train going by across the creek, and no sewer hookups due to being so close to the creek (so understandable). Dump station by entrance. Will stay here again!

Needed a place to pull in and sleep for the night and this was perfect. I arrived late, close to 8, and the office was still open.
Nice host, clean showers and bathroom. Even got free ice cream upon arrival.
It is directly across the water from the freeway and trains run through then other, so bring your ear plugs.

Yes the park is near the highway but was not an issue for us.

We needed a stop between Cody WY and Glacier. This place was a bit further than we wanted to drive but ON POINT for what we needed. Even though it's right off I-90 and yes there are a few trains, the owners and the complete vibe here more than made up for a minor bit of noise. We stayed in the overflow area with water and 30amp. When we come back we might request the same! Honey wagon comes by 2x a week and there is a dump on the way out or in at the top of the hill. The South Fork river flows thru the property which means lots of tubing is available (bring your own tube) We had a live band on Friday night and watch couples dance and sing! The new addition to this campground is the the "Food Truck" on property that operates on the weekend for breakfast and dinner. Outstanding food with the start up business. Missoula is the nearest town around 40 miles away so if you are here on the weekend, the Food Truck is a must! Making plans to stay again on our return. Truly a gem. The dog loved playing in the river and there is a substantial Ghost Town to visit not far away.

When we could not get a spot in Missoula due to a Grizzlies home game, we stayed at this place. I would like to give it more stars because it does have some redeeming qualities. It has a nice grassy field at the end of the sites for dog walking, and there are big trees for shade. The sites are no closer than many rv parks and the water and electric hookups, bathrooms and laundry are adequate. Unfortunately, the negatives really outweigh the the positives. It is right on the Clark Fork River, but directly on the other side of the river (maybe 30 yards away) is I90. As a result the road noise is loud and incessant. And there are trains that whistle early in the morning and at least 2 other times daily that I heard. Also, they claim to have wifi, but it did not reach any site in the campground that I could find. I did go up to the office and was able to sit outside and get a weak connection, but then it starting raining so I gave up. I would prefer they not advertise wifi rather than being surprised.
During the day, we fished at the Drummond City Park and it looked very quiet with only 1 other camper. I'll go there next time the Grizzlies are in town.
