Lovely Quiet empty Place. $16/night. Very Clean Vault Toilet. Close To Devils Tower. About 9 Sites Available. Smaller rigs better. Some sites are quite level.

About 20 miles or so from Devil's Tower. We went to Devil's Tower on May 11th 2021 planning to stay at the NPS campground there, however the gate attendant at the Park told us that the campground (Belle Fourche) had been closed for a year, and was scheduled to re-open in 4 days. Bummer! We wouldn't consider staying at the over priced KOA next to the entrance, and asked if he knew about any of the Forest Service campgrounds in the area. He could only suggest one that he had stayed at before, Bear Lodge. He gave us directions, and after exploring Devil's Tower, we headed up there. It was a nice scenic drive to the campground.
The only amenity was a vault toilet, that wasn't very impressive, but that was fine, since we were self contained.
There was only a tent on one site, and a van on another site.
It was quiet and peaceful. As we enjoyed relaxing around the campfire, we could hear the occasional coyote in the distance.
A big salute to Dave, the NPS gate attendant for telling us about this place!

The services are limited as are most NFS campgrounds. There is some road traffic audible during the day, but traffic is very light at night. We had no usable cell service - occasionally one bar was enough to get a couple of text messages.

Just did a drive through. Sites are small, but I could park my 32ft trailer in a couple if needed, but maybe not the truck. Water was off and the $7 fee was just scrawled on the enter board with magic marker...not exactly official looking. Place looked clean. Near the hwy, but there's probably little night traffic out there.
