• Nice quiet campground. • Lots of trees and shade. • Staff are awesome. • Reservations are a must, long in advance. • We stayed 5 nights, I had to move 3 times, and I booked more than 6 weeks out for September. • Site 67 – lots of room, shade, level has 30 amp, no sewer or water. • We stayed 5 nights, I had to move 3 times, and I booked more than 6 weeks out for September.
• Site 67 – lots of room, shade, level has 30 amp, no sewer or water. Poor cell coverage.
• Site 116 – Level, lots of room, shade, no power. Excellent cell coverage.
• Site 62 – Level, lots of room, some shade, 30 amp, no sewer or water. Decent cell coverage.
• Some sites have power, very few have water, and none have sewer, and the sani dump has been out of service all season.
• There are showers, several buildings, you can not control the temp, the main building the water is cold, the building near site 116 the water is scalding hot.
• I would rather a pay shower where I can control the temp than freeze or burn.

“Clean, Friendly And Not Impacted By The Forest Fire”

We were worried this park may have been burned by the fire in 2023. The area surrounding was impacted but the campground itself was spared. Sites are private. Facilities are spotless. Staff were friendly. The sani-dump was closed (burned by fire) but there are spigots in the campground to fill the water tank.

We were caught be surprise, not realizing that this park is now reservation only, but we had no problem just showing up. The staff are all very friendly and the park is spotless! We ended up picking a site based on it being well separated for our dog's benefit. I didn't expect to get much help from the solar panel in a well tree'd park, but our site was open enough to recover what little we were using each day. The best site, in my estimation is site 125 (see picture) - it's large, open, and backs up to the lake.
Restrooms were well maintained and spotless but the shower temperature did vary significantly.
The park is a fair distance from town, at least time wise. The road is very twisty, and traffic over the bridge from the west side to the city of Kelowna is stop and go in the morning, BUT the city is very walkable and people are very friendly. There's lots of public art in the downtown core which makes for a wonderful wander.
The vast majority of the park is composed of dry sites which we chose, but they also have some W/E sites and a row of FHU sites. This park is very popular with the locals as well as folks from Vancouver who come to enjoy the sunshine. The area is full of winerys and a few cideries which we didn't have time to investigate since we were concentrating on the plethora of geocaches in the area.
We were using Google Fi for our Canadian connectivity and in this location it was adequate for web browsing but very slow for uploading.

Absolutely love this place. Clean and well maintained. Close to Kelowna, Westbank, and some of the best wineries I have ever been to. Sanidump,($5.00), water, washroom with free showers.
