“Road Closed. No Camping Sign.”

Overall Rating

Multiple signs right as you turn off the highway that say the road is closed 3 miles ahead but no camping.

Overall Rating

Along CR49 outside Cleora, there are several dispersed campsites with excellent access to the Rainbow Trail. There are no facilities here; camping is fully self-supported. It's best for VERY small RVs, and more realistically tent camping. The further up you go, the more shade you'll have at your site. The road going in is very narrow and at times loose and steep. A high clearance vehicle would be preferable to access the area. They're easy to get to from US50, which makes them pretty heavily traveled. But they're good for an overnight or weekend of MTB exploring.
