“Small campground mostly for horses and hunters”

This campground was several miles and several turns off the highway. You go through a lot of ranch land and then drive through some bumpy little road that led us through a herd of cows who were reluctant to make way ;).

When we got there we found 4-5 sites. Most are small but two we could have fit our 24’ trailer in. The site next to the small corral was the biggest. This seems to be mostly a horse camp and during hunting season there are restrictions on where you can park so that people could reach the game meat storage poles (bears in the area). There is a trail that leaves from this campground for people and horses only, I think. Also a house for a ranger (probably occupied during hunting season).

We were scouting for a place to stay for a few days but this was not it.
