Front desk very helpful, all told, but prices still high for what you're getting. Bozeman was pretty booked up, even months in advance, so the price was OK relative to nearby RV parks. About 8-10 minutes drive into Bozeman and also close to southern trailheads, so if you're using this to launch south into the mountains, you could do worse.
We read about loud train whistles coming through, but it wasn't that disruptive at all - maybe heard it once or twice, and the kids sleep with sound machines so it didn't affect them.
Overall, would shoot for another park with more space + cleaner/larger/updated shower facilities. Pool and playground major pluses though.

I have never written a review on a campground before but felt.compelled to do so for Bear Canyon Campground. DON”T STAY HERE if you have a larger RV and plan for any length of time. The campground sites are TIGHT! So tight in fact, that your tiny strip of campsite grass holds the neighboring site’s sewer and water connect. We stayed in site 23 and travel in a 35 ft fifth wheel. We found it very difficult to place our unit in such a way as to NOT walk out smack dab into the sewer connect for the site next to us. Picnic tables are provided but good luck finding a spot to use it let alone place it if you are in a larger RV. To add to this, there are trains (PLURAL) that run well into the early morning hours and they blow their horns multiple times in passing. Sleep was difficult as a result. We closed the windows (didn’t really help, horns are very loud). The price of this place for what is, is excessive, way overpriced! We will ride out our stay but leave a night early because of the expense loss but again, just don’t do it. We will NOT be back and do not recommend this campground.
Lastly, cell coverage is indicated to be good but was not. We use T-Mobile.

Back-in sites are on the perimeter of the grounds & resemble a tight parking lot. Pull-thru sites are located within & are very cramped & noticeably un-level. Our site had the sewer hookup after the very rear of the site which required multiple sections of hose. We found the traffic noise from I-90 to be minimal. I’m not sure how often the trash dumpsters are emptied but it needs to be more frequent as they are overflowing.
The entrance into the park is nice, wide & attractive as is the office & pool area. A dump station is located across from the office. Staff was friendly. They do allow mail/packages to be delivered but are certainly not very excited about doing it. Note - USPS does NOT deliver here so you will need to use general delivery.
Our average cost per night for a 7 night stay was $82!

We had to stay in the area an extra night due to tire trouble, and opted to stay at this place again. It was clean with a pool. Laundry available. The trains are loud and run through the night. Beautiful location, close to some trails. We got a rideshare into town. There's a small pet fee for some reason for having a dog.

These sites are packed in with no space between campers, but there is grass behind each site with a picnic table and a beautiful view, which makes the sites doable. This is a very busy park, so the bathrooms are heavily used but cleaned daily. Trains run all night, and it is near the freeway, so not very quiet (the other RV park in town is even closer to the freeway and trains).

Nice staff, well organized campground. Great camp cat! We were in site #21 which was a level pull through. It was pricey, but the biggest issue we had was the trains that come by at regular intervals blowing their horns near the campground during the night. It was difficult to sleep.

No one had their pets leashed so we had to be mindful of our dog. Our site was grass and gravel with a picnic table. Heard the train pretty much once every hour all day and night. Overall very nice and a 10 minute drive to downtown Bozeman. Seemed overpriced for what you get but maybe that’s the new going rate.

Campsite was so un-even that the back of the trailer was almost 12 inches lower than the front before leveling so for most people, good luck getting your rig level.
Entry to the campsite is near a low bridge so higher rigs may have trouble getting in if coming from the East. Then you have a tight turn by the campground sign that is not lit so at night there’s a decent chance of driving past the entry.
As other have stated, lots of freeway and train noise due to the location of the campsite. Personally, this was fine with me. It drowned out the noise of the neighbors who somehow managed to be getting drunk on Keystone lites.
The views are nice from the campground but not nice enough to warrant paying money to stay here. Keep looking...and find ANYWHERE else
