The campground itself is mostly parking lot style with some trees and surrounded by sand dunes (BTW these sand dunes are great fun for the kids!). Some different rules here in that you cannot put a tent on the sand, and fire pits (you must bring your own) must also stay on pavement and not allowed on sand. Filling with water is generally done by trips to filling station, or taking watering can to nearby water supplies. With that said this is a little more rustic (most sites lacking full hookup), but it is a nice place and always a great time. We have been coming here for many years, and it never disappoints.
Working remote a little tricky here as cell coverage is not great (for ATT and T-Mobile at least). Need good antenna hardware to do so effectively, tethering off phones will not work great at campgrounds.

Only a % of sites are full hookups, the rest are electric only sites. Water spigots are spread around the campsite, so getting fresh water to fill tank is not difficult, but water spigots will likely be further away than you have hose for.
Firepits are not provided, must bring your own or use the community fire pits near the beach access. Firepits are allowed only on the pavement within campsite, not on the sand. Tents setup on sites must be on pavement, not allowed on sand.
Cell coverage is pretty bad. My AT&T phone jumps between no coverage, or 1 bar of either 3G or sometimes 4G/LTE. Using a more powerful antenna in my rig (Winegard 360) I was getting levels between 60-90% 4G on my router. So not consistent service on phone, but an amplified antenna or likely a booster can connect.

It's easy one way access through the beach campground. All sites are back in . We have camped this campground twice and loved both times. We were in a popup and din't need to use the Dump Station. Not all sites have Water. The Bathhouse is well kept.
