We only stayed overnight. Never stayed at a KOA before, thought the sites were a little close, but not like some RV parks. Level concrete pad, easy hookups but a little far from RV connections. Best shower in a long time with good pressure. Friendly folks at checkin and a guy led me to my site and helped me park. Had a 30' motorhom... more
We only stayed overnight. Never stayed at a KOA before, thought the sites were a little close, but not like some RV parks. Level concrete pad, easy hookups but a little far from RV connections. Best shower in a long time with good pressure. Friendly folks at checkin and a guy led me to my site and helped me park. Had a 30' motorhome and pulled a Subaru, but didn't have to unhook for a one night stay. Wifi was useful.

What a great place for families and couples! The grandkids had a great time - putt-putt golf was so much fun. Dog park, pool, covered area for large groups, AND the check in process was quick and super helpful! Oh and there’s a general store! Nice park to go on walks! We cannot wait to come back!

Very friendly staff, clean park. We didn’t use the game room but looked inside and lots to do there. We were impressed. Highway noise a little loud.

We stayed here 4 nights and enjoyed every minute. The Jacuzzi was clean and close to us. The spots were spacious. Laundry was clean. We enjoyed the park in back. This was home base as we drove to New Orleans and Jean Lafitte National Historical Park.

Felt safe, quiet, and comfortable.
Construction on campground is distracting.
Nice putt-putt course. Propane on-site. Well-stocked store. Good laundry facilities.
Our site was a bit tight but overall a great site with shade, cable, level paved site, and maintained really well.
Close to lots of restaurants, gas, shopping, etc if that is what you need.
Construction on the campground (took a star off because of it):
It was frustrating to have undisclosed construction going on during the week, because we do work weekdays and loud construction crews and trucks do cause a good amount of noise. Honestly, we might not have stayed here, if we knew about the construction noise ahead of time. If that is helpful, take the advice for what it is worth.

Took one of the premium sites which obviously cost more. It was raining so no use of the patio or fire pit. Probably no more separation between sites for the non premium. Took one of the premium sites which obviously cost more. It was raining so no use of the patio or fire pit. Probably no more separation between sites for the non premium. Some sites have grass, others not. Decent dog park with some dog obstacle course sites. The staff was friendly and accommodating. A few miles from interstate but do hear some road noise but not that bothersome. They have breakfast on Sat and Sun (you pay) but a decent variety. There is a park adjacent to the campground that would be good for walking or running. Dogs can go to this park but the sign says they must only use the dog area. Didn't use their WIFI or other ammenities.

Some shade trees, but it looked like a lot of trees were damaged by a recent storm.

The free Wifi was one of the best in the country!!!!
Very nice pool. Hot tub was not very hot.
Grounds are well taken care of the bath house are cleaned daily very well.
Mini golf was newer looking.

Overall Rating
It was clean and easy to get into the spot. Nice little dog park on site. We needed to check out late from our site and they gave us a hard time about it saying that someone was coming into our site that day. Just kind of hard to believe when the park was only about 40% full. Oh well it’s all good :)
