Overall Rating
We stayed here one night. Rolled in the day the Forest Service Fire Fighters were clearing brush in the campsite area. They said they ran off a bunch of harmless snakes and got rid of a couple of rattle snakes. We only stayed one night because the bugs were crazy and we couldn't be outside. We also had no cell signal, you have to go back down to the paved road before you pick up slamming fast Verizon LTE. We got enough service to send text messages, barely.
3 stars because the site is so amazingly beautiful. So lush.
Road up to site is paved until the last 2 miles, then pretty sketchy dirt road, but we did it in our 37' motorhome w toad.

To add to what Juniperchica said in their review the last 2 miles is dirt but well maintained up to the last 1/4 mile were there are some ruts. We were just out scouting so we did not stay. There were no level areas
