The coordinate’s entered into Apple Maps took me to the wrong street. It’s easy to find though right off 20 before the cstore/gas. The electric posts are in 2 rows in the back past the arena. Large puddles eliminate some sites, but I’m the only one here so I can pick whichever I want.

The bad? Primary purpose of this village park campground appears to be for contestants and vendors at county fair and rodeos. Are probably 30 electrical pedestals available. As a consequence, you cannot walk anywhere without stepping in horse manure. Flies were so thick that we swatted dozens in our RV each day. The park sits at the intersection of two major highways (HWY 20 and HWY 183), heavy Jake-Braking semi truck traffic noise and vibration present 24 hours a day. Perhaps if during summer months, an RV air-conditioner would soften some of the noise, but not in shoulder season when we visited. You have the occasional local drive-throughs. Park has several acres which lead to remote spots. Didn't always feel safe walking alone there.

This was not a planned stop but so glad it was available. The park is quiet but there was a public pool across the park. It was 30 or 50 amp hookup. Water and dump station were available. We ended up at this campground as we traveled the entire length of Nebraska on 20, after impulsively visiting the Wounded Kne memorial in southern SD. Options were limited but we felt lucky we found this great site! Camping area is just a one large grass covered area with many different electrical hook ups so you just pull in and park wherever. Perhaps after a good rain it would be a muddy issue but not on our visit. This campground is behind the municipal park and next to the fairgrounds. We were not even sure if we were in the right place as it’s really not marked. There appeared to be 2 long-term residences here, but we did not see them. We did use the electrical 30 amp, 50 is also available. It appears the area is used when the fairgrounds have events. We didn’t notice the Bathhouse/showers the first time around but found them later up near the entrance on the fairgrounds. Water is accessible through several pumps on the site. They do also have a dump station behind the fairground bleacher area. The “Arboretum” are stakes under a number of trees that are marked with their type of tree. There are Several older buildings that were moved to the park that I’m sure are open at certain times but we stayed here such a short time we didn’t visit.
The only noise was the whinnying of the horses that were in the fairground pens. We did go visit them one evening and they were very friendly. We did take a bike ride into town which is just 3 blocks long. Everybody was very friendly and waved to us from their trucks as they went by. There is a gas station on the corner where we were able to get ice and fuel/diesel. Talked to a few friendly folks there also. Did use the showers and they were more than a little sketchy, dirty concrete, peeling paint, falling apart shower curtain, but we so badly wanted a shower we didn’t care. 🤣🤣
There was plenty of hot water and being the only ones in the park we did not have to wait. We did leave a donation in the box in front of the dump station/fairground. I’ve included some pictures as some of these things were hard to find on our first trip around. As the above reviewer mentioned the burrs are everywhere and they just seem to jump on your socks and clothing. Very hard to remove. My husband even had them in the treds on his shoes. Letting a dog walk on any of the grassy area would be crazy as they are so hard to remove and painful if you get stuck.
