There were several campers in the lot.

It started out nice. Big empty area, one other RV, felt safe, very quiet. But then the next day our RV suddenly sounded like a jet engine. Sure enough, the catalytic converter was gone. I guess it’s a threat anywhere you boondock - but I thought people might like to know before they come here.

Arrived mid afternoon on a Friday. Asked at front desk if we could stay. They were very friendly and Helpful. Road noise but not too bad. A nice park behind the store with a trail around a lake. Impressive store (as always at Bass Pro Shops) and worth the visit. Easy in and out. Would stay again.

Very clean parking lot and area. Not a lot of thru traffic, or walking traffic, which made it feel very safe. Close to interstate so some hwy noise, but relatively quiet considering.

We were traveling eastbound on 70 during an intense thunderstorm, and wanted to make it past Kansas City before stopping. Torrential rain essentially forced us off the road as soon as we got past KC. I used the Campendium app and saw the high ratings of this location and we were only 5 mins away. Pulled in the back of lot, was pretty level and quiet. Stayed about 6-7 hours, we left just before 7 am when employees were beginning to arrive. Noticed a park behind the store where walkers were so it must be a safe area. We had no issues and minimal noise aside from the storms. Secluded parking lot that gets very little traffic due to location. One other camper there. Only noise was from interstate. Better than a rest area stay, and kept us safe from an accident.

There was limited traffic in and out of the parking lot when the stores were open and I liked that the parking lot was virtually empty once the stores all closed. There was one other camper van staying the night. A great place to rest overnight.

Employees coming to work in the AM super rude parked next to us blew the horn, radio blasting. If you park here go way out to end of parking lot but only thing about that is next to interstate.

Bass Pro Shops are super nice. Facilities inside when the store is open. Parking lot is slightly sloped, but not really noticeable when sleeping. Just park really far from store to not get in their way.

Checked in with the staff inside and they told us we were welcome to stay overnight. This is the nicest bass pro shop we’ve been to with a beautiful lake in walking distance if you wanted to burn some calories after dinner! It was Saturday night and by midnight there were still a few late incomers, but all were quiet. There was probably about 4 rigs in total with 1 or 2 people sleeping in their cars. Felt really safe here, and the highway noise did not bother us. Definitely a great over night spot!
