Noise levels rose from 5-9 but it was quiet at 10. Odd generator hours of 12-4 pm only. Absolutely no cell service. Minimal WiFi at visitor center. Lovely rangers.

Kodachrome is a beautiful park. Very close to Bryce Canyon National Park, which quite honestly, is much more beautiful. Lots of hiking and even horseback riding available.
Restrooms are really, really nice. I'm used to pit toilets when I go camping. These had full bathrooms with really nice showers. It rained a lot while we were there and the bathrooms got very wet and muddy and were not cleaned regularly.
It is a very quiet park. Generators are only allowed from 12-4pm, which is great for tent campers, because we don't want to hear that crap.

We stayed for 2 nights at Kodachrome Basin while we visited Bryce Canyon. This park was beautiful. It’s very quiet and quite a relaxing place to camp. The only issue we had was there is no cell signal for miles. The visitor center thankfully has pretty good WiFi but it’s a mile up the road from the campgrounds.

This little park exceeded our expectations. It was a little warm during our visit (third week of July) but that was on us. We could have easily stayed here and just explored the state park and been perfectly happy and we plan to in the near future. Our spot (KO2) was right at the entrance but it was huge and felt very private. It had water and power hookups but no shade. The bathroom facility was really clean and the showers were exceptionally nice. But the real star of the park was the ranger working the welcome center and gift shop. She was so incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and we made a point of stopping each day to chat with her. The gift shop has just about anything you would need and there is firewood available at the campground. NOTE: Google Maps tried to direct us to turn off half a mile early before the actual park road.

The Good: Excellent showers and beautiful scenery.
The Bad: The campground did not have an “official” camp host, so no one is making rounds and looking out for campers.
The Ugly: In spite of the signs to keep bikes / vehicles on pavement, our neighbors let their children run wild on battery-operated mini BMX bikes and were tearing through the natural, protected areas of our campsite until we had finally had enough. A verbal altercation ensued and insults were hurled in our direction.
Oh, and then there the dune buggies buzzing around driven by 14 year-olds.
Again, no camp host.
Apparently rangers were called after we had gone to bed to quiet down the adults after midnight.
We left a day early and would love to return under different circumstances.

This is a beautiful campground. Most sites have a little tucked away spot that is semi-private, if you can park so that your camper lines up with the road and covers the entrance to your campsite. Site 15 was perfect for our tent trailer. Right against the edge of the campground, with some scrubby trees and a little dry water run before the canyon walls.
It was raining off and on during our visit and we didn’t want to explore the area too much and get stranded by impassable roads so we hiked a few of the trails right in the park and they were absolutely incredible. The Panorama Trail with the Cool Cave loop was one of the most amazing things I’ve ever seen. Angels Palace Trail was up high with paths onto little ridges that terrified me but delighted my family (I just stayed back a way).
Showers were amazing. Roomy with a spot to put dry clothes. The shower head was high up, a big square with lots of hot water, really nice for tall people.
Potable and non-potable water to fill tanks. Dishwashing station near the restrooms. Dry and easy to chop firewood for $10 a bundle.
Laundromat was nice and clean. Visitors centre had a few essentials -ice, water, wifi. Had a little gift shop too.
Loved our stay here.

Great campground, we stayed in site 13 which is more isolated at the end of the loop - site 12 would be also. Pretty level, great setup with picnic tables on a concrete slab and nice fire pit. This was not a site with hookups, although there are some. The whole campground is by reservation and seems pretty full. The bathrooms are amazing! Pretty modern, flush toilets, good sinks, and walk in showers with either a rain head or handheld wand. Lots of hot water (but be a good citizen and use frugally - we are in a desert!) The views of towers, spires and cliffs are spectacular, especially early or late. Highly recommend the panorama loop - pretty easy, 3 miles with some side routes (especially Cool Cave - fantastic) that can bring it to 6 miles. Start early and you’ll have it to yourself, mostly. Also recommended is Angels Palace, a bit of a climb but more great views over the valley and towers all the way to Bryce. The staff at the visitor center are very nice, and have 8 flavors of ice cream to scoop for you along with other snax, bevs, and swag. A very nice experience. But, no T-mobile except at Panorama Point…and that was 2 bars LTE.

This is a beautiful State Park! It has a couple of great hikes, and you can drive to some other sites outside the park. However, our experiences have been that while there are posted rules, including generator hours, there is no enforcement. So, if your neighbors wants to run their generator to all hours of the night, you will have to deal with it yourself. Also, there is no camp hosts.
