Not sure why this place is rated so low because we had a very good experience here. Clean bathrooms and showers that look recently updated. Friendly staff. Not the fanciest KOA, but they have everything you need for a comfortable stop over in Barstow.

We used this place as a stop over on a drive day in a 29' motorhome. I called around 3pm to see if they had a site available. They did but it was only water and electric. that was fine with me, but then I heard the price. $68.35. that seems pretty darn expensive to not have sewer. when I arrived in the site I realized that it wasn't even 50amp, it was 30amp. Since I didn't have sewer, I opted to use the campground shower. it was clean but super small. it's really not so much the campground that I didn't like as much as the price. I would stay here again if I had to, but I thought that was a lot closer to a full hookup price. Staff was friendly and everything was clean so I don't want to sound like it wasn't a good place, just laying that KOA price was painful.

This is the most "run down" KOA we have stayed at. It wasn't bad at all though. The pool is a great thing to have access to when done with a day of exploring. We stayed in site 29, which has better tree (shade) coverage than most sites....

It's a KOA so you always know what to expect. Easy on and off I-15. Has propane. Some spots have trees which would be nice in the summer. The pool looked like it needed some maintenance and I did not use the facilities. Good Wi-Fi even far from the office. Plenty of noise from I-15.

The campground was suitable for overnight stop to shower after a week of boon-docking and do laundry. However, the showers were only lukewarm and agree with others that there was traffic noise all night.

We camped here for the night in December. Staff was super helpful and courteous on the phone when I called on the way, and in person when I arrived. This is a simple KOA with reasonably level gravel sites. Fair bit of greenery given it’s in the desert. Our spot (65) was towards the back, so though the campground is just off the highway, we could barely hear the traffic, even outside our camper. Large dog play area (all sand; no grass) and ample room to walk around behind the property. WI-FI was reasonable. Convenient, comfortable, and felt safe. Will definitely have this on my list for future trips through the area.

Not a bad KOA Sites are well kept. Large dog area. Cable TV . This is a desert location so don't expect grass. Good for an overnight stay.

They keep a tidy campground here, and are making improvements to the shower house/ bathrooms near our spot #63. Nice people staying here in big RV's and nice enough staff.

This was a quick overnight to refresh tanks and recharge the Jackery after a few nights of lot docking, and our expectations were pretty low…. I mean it’s Barstow.
This ended up being one of our favorite KOAs ever. It’s not a huge park, and it doesn’t have a lot of the frills KOAs are known for, but the only amenity we generally use is the dog park, and our pack loved the one here. The privacy of the sites is well above average and the grounds are maintained well. Their propane is right on your way out making it easy to top off before you leave, which we did.

We’re in a van and any of sites T2-6 would have been nicer though no gravel on any of parking spaces. Shower was warm but fairly disgusting. Water was pooling around my feet so I lifted the rubber mat and found literally gobs of matted hair around the drain. We were coming from I 40 at night and the 3 miles to the campground off I 15 are on a really dark road that is windy and difficult to see. Would only stay here again if absolutely necessary.
