“Finally three first class improved sites for boon docking overlooking the BH Canyon. OUTSTANDING!”

After a long drive north on rte 37 from Lovell, WY and across the Montana line through mustang range and high desert we come again to BARRY'S LANDING which takes you down the deep canyon to a boat launch and an improved primitive campground set up separately for tenters and smaller RVs (up to 30' maybe).

On a ridge at the end of the drive are there very long campsites for any size RV (no water of elect) that are surrounded by all the beauty of the BHRA. To the east are the Big Horn Mountains and to the east is the Pryor Range that iw home for about 125 mustangs along with BH sheep, mule and white tail deer, mountain lions and mountain lions.

This is a FABULOUS PLACE where you can forget your cell phone and computer. You are off the tract out here, just you and the critters and the ghosts of days past.

Tomp would stay here again

“Quiet, Clean, and hot.”

We may have inadvertently stayed at a group site, but we were very happy with our site, it was quiet and peaceful and had a fair amount of privacy. The nearby facilities were new and very clean.

Being down in a lower ledge by the very tiny creek it limited the breeze and was fairly hot, but on a side note and totally by surprise I found a lone morel mushroom just behind our site! It made me a bit homesick, ha!

Overall, nice place to overnight on our way to the next adventure.
