Stayed mid-May. Hesitant at first since there seemed to be campers here exceeding the 14-day limit. Another RV and tent campers arrived after us, so we felt pretty safe. Plenty of parking, green grass, cool views, and picnic tables. Spotless pit toilets! Never heard a train—just rain.

I read other people's reviews of this place and could see that it had good reviews & decent Verizon service, and I figured why not - it's free! I'm pleasantly surprised! The cool thing is that Lewis and Clark actually stopped here, remarking on the big exposed cliff wall across the river, at the far side of the campground. It's called Rattlesnake Cliff, and you can Google the details. Pretty cool to be camping where they did! Anyway - it has a nice grassy area between the parking lot (where you camp) and the river. There's noise from the Interstate, but not overwhelming... I didn't hear the train, but the tracks run right next to the gravel parking area. There's fishing right here, if you like that. I think this was a great find...

Not at all crowded and no mosquitoes to bother me. Pit toilets in walking distance from where I parked. I’ll let you know about the trains.

This was a sweet spot! We woke up viewing the magnificent mountains! Even that our Verizon phones said only two bars, our cell service was fabulous! We were disappointed to NOT have a train come by in the middle of the night. We’re train people. 🤗

Att and Verizon service. Not sure how many bars, as we visited mid July.

The previous reviews are still very accurate. There are only two designated RV sites and we were lucky enough to get one. The parking lot is plenty big for multiple rigs to spend a night or two.

Trash service available.
No hookups but there are 2 hand pumps water spigots. Use the one across the footbridge, it works so much faster than the one in the parking lot. Portable water is available is Conoco is Dillon and free dump with a purchase of 10 bucks or more. So fill up your generator and dump and water is free. Right by the train track though so you will hear that each night!

Located on the frontage road for I-15, you do get road noise. Open lot with plenty of sunshine for solar, and a well maintained riverfront park for relaxing in the shade. 14 day limit, but I can't see putting up with the freeway noise for that long.
Overall a good stopover point, and perhaps a short stay. Plenty of picnic tables. Gravel parking lot and the place I parked was level without using my blocks. Two pit toilets by the parking lot, and two more across the foot bridge to the day use only portion of the park.
Low marks for location and noise are due to proximity to I-15.
