It was a quick stop. We arrived early afternoon on a Friday. It took longer to wait through the check-in line than to set up at the site. We were pre-registered and pre-paid BUT check-in staff were disorganized and the person shouting at the line of guests was surly. Giant state park with a nice network of hiking paths and paved bike trails. We stayed at the lower end of Fearing Pond at site H9 in June 2016. We chose the Fearing Pond loop after reading other reviews that mentioned the main Charge Pond camping area had a reputation for being a little rowdier and noisy, even after quiet hours.
