Barley Creek is a tent or truck camper boondocking area in a lush riparian canyon on the west side of Nevada’s Monitor mountain range. I never saw the creek, but there must be water because of all the vegetation. There are about 3 wide spots off of the dirt road to camp. I saw a couple rock fire rings. I wouldn’t bring a trailer in here. There is an old stone house ruin here that is interesting to look at. It’s a very beautiful setting, though, with plenty of peace and quiet.
