Well marked directions to entry. Pay by check or cash. Staff is excellent. Spacious sites, great river access for fishing, swimming, canoes or kiyaks. Trails to walk along the river. The campground offers limited hookup or no hookup at all. It is an older park with good water pressure and stable electrical. There are lots of flies an... more

Reservations needed to go on site but it's first come first service on the primitive camp sites. Sites are grassy with plenty of tree shading. Most are along the river. Beautiful sunsets over the Colorado River cliffs. Quiet and clean. Bathrooms are clean and include showers. Shallows for wading and plenty of deeper water for fishing.... more

It's off the beaten path but well worth it. The spaces are grass and the bathroom is disgusting but if you have an RV with a bathroom - who cares! The views were amazing and the drive onto the property was breath taking. Watch for cows and peackocks! make sure you're there for sunrise and sunset. look for turkey vultures in the trees. ... more
