Lots of pullouts of various size and quality. Not sure if many or any are long enough for super big rigs. Most lakeside ones have a little path to the water. Swimming was amazing and not even that cold! A few sites had paths down to areas suitable for tent camping. Some sites were occupied by day users getting ready to leave but still plenty of availability at 5 on a late June Thursday. There are dumpsters where the road turns to dirt but no other amenities. Warning!!!: there are mice here. Keep your food safe

I have no idea what the previous reviewer is talking about (no offense) it sounds like they ended up somewhere else. I have no idea what the previous reviewer is talking about (no offense) it sounds like they ended up somewhere else. Baker Lake road is nicely paved until the last couple of miles which is decent dirt road. There are lots of pullouts of various sizes and quality all along the road. Most not long enough for super big rigs. Some pullouts are next to paths that lead to tent camping areas. The lakeside pullouts have paths leading to the water. I had a great time swimming! The lake was beautiful and surprisingly warm. Some sites where occupied by day users who started leaving around 4. There are public dumpsters where the road turns to dirt. No bathrooms, fire rings or picnic tables. WARNING!!!: there are mice. Keep your food safe. Fellow truck topper campers plug your tailgate holes or you will have new roommates.

As previously documented from the reviews above, I would disagree with that review. 99% of the sites are all tent only. There is one site that could fit my 22 foot NOBO trailer, but people were using it as a parking lot instead. The road to this dispersed area is filled with huge potholes and it’ll take a lot of time out of your day to drive up from concrete and back to not find a campsite. We disperse camp a lot in Colorado, and the lack of dispersed camping options for people with trailers in WA is mildly disappointing. We ended up staying at the KOA in concrete.

We found free dispersed camping within the Mt Baker National Forest along Baker Lake Road. This free dispersed campsite is off of Baker Lake Road, National Forest Road, NF-11. There is ample space for your camping configuration and off road parking. There is a very nice fire ring and walk-in tent camping area behind this free dispersed campsite perched on a bluff overlooking Baker Lake. The views from this campsite are awesome. There is a kayak launch area below this campsite with its own access road. There was no Verizon, AT&T, or T-Mobile cellular service at this location.
