However it was a nice spot with a great view of the water. Stayed a bit in the am, looking at the campground. It is very pretty with all or many of the sites having a view of the water. Would definitely stay again in area D, but a different site. Reasonably priced with electric and water.

-the pullthrough sites are better suited for shorter rigs.
-also on pullthrough sites-the table and firepit area is on the driver's side of your rig.
-many back-in sites have a decent slope.
-Verizon coverage was adequate; could Facetime with no issues
-TV antenna clearly picked up 4 channels (ABC, CW, FOX and a local public channel)
-public restrooms/showers also had a laundry room

First off, some of the other review note that the roads into the various loops are narrow and windy. This is absolutely true! They aren't impossible to navigate but you need to take your time and be deliberate about it. I saw some people with BIG TT or 5th wheels, and clearly they are much better drivers than me. I was nervous about my 22' TT but honestly it was fine.
The loops get progressively more wooded and secluded as you do down, i.e. "A" is the most community-like, and E is the most private. (F was closed while we were there but it was the most private of them all.)
Loops C and D seemed to have the best access to swimming but it was hard to get to the lake from our E spot. We had E18, which is a pull-through spot, but it was a little tricky. You drove up to a small flat spot and then back down so there really wasn't a lot of flat area. Though, it was just fine for our small trailer.
E17, where my nephew was in his class C, was AWESOME and among the best of the sites. It was easy to get into and was right on the lake.
We would definitely go back again and probably to loop E again.

Next time to hookup water and electric. Yikes the water is way over on other side of site. Yep hose not long enough need a 50 foot. Went to camp host to see where we might get one didn't no other then some other campers had to do same thing bought last one at dollar store. I called The Landing at port Oliver about 2 mlles away and sure enough she had one left. Would be a good idea to mention this on the reservation page. Also the drive is split with 15, so far no one has come into that site.
The road coming into camp E is also very narrow and curvy. Most sites have a view of the water. But for our two days here it was peaceful.

I stayed at Bailey’s Point Campground (a US Army Corp of Engineers facility) so that I could tour the Corvette factory and museum. Turns out I really liked this CoE campground (haven’t been disappointed in one yet!).
I arrived to find no one manning the entrance booth, so I drove around the open section of the campground (several sections were closed I assume because they didn’t need to utilize the space right then) until I found a spot I liked. I then hoped online and reserved said spot for 2 nights.
I chose a hillside site with marvelous views of the lake. Another bonus was that all the other RVs were up by the bath house, so I was all alone and extremely pleased!
Water connection was up the hill slightly, but electrical was right where it should be.
I had a perfect view of the lake and immensely enjoyed the peace and quiet of having no neighbors. Great location!
Definitely recommend this campground for a few nights. Just make sure you get a site with a view and don’t jam yourself up with everyone else.
Good (boosted) Verizon signal.
