Baileys Ford

Since no one has posted a review or pictures of this amazing park yet, I knew I just had to tell everyone about it! It’s a nice sized state park with lots of large spaces with several separated areas for camping.

We saw some large fifth wheels, but no class A’s in the park. Beware of the speedbump upon entering. There are several playgrounds for the kids, a large field for a pick up baseball or wiffleball game, sand volleyball pit, and tons of river and creek access. There are a lot of trails that lead to the water or just hike in the woods.

There are pit toilets and the showers are located near the office. It is a pay on the honor system, so bring your checkbook or cash. There is two very clean, dump stations with hoses to use at the entrance as well as potable water. You can buy firewood for $10 from the camp host, but not too far from entering the park, there are places that sell it for $5 a bundle.
Water shuts off at the sites on Oct 9th.

We are with T-Mobile and had no cell reception. But didn’t mind the escape from technology and the peace and quiet especially being close to Highway 20.
