With only 6 sites get there early or off season. The road noise is only a problem if that's what you're concentrating on, between the crickets, birds and my small fan I didn't even notice it. Picnic table and fire ring at each site. $20 off season with the access pass I paid $10 a night. Only 1 bar on Verizon, enough to talk, text and ... more

Definitely can hear noise from the freeway but a great overnight to visit the caves there. Nice trails and pretty sites. The water and toilets were down when we stayed so there was no drinking water and only portapotties and so it wasn’t as good as it could have been.

No hookups but we knew that from the Campendium app. That’s why we have a trailer. So we don’t mind boondocking for a few days. Camp host are super friendly. Site #1 has a view of the lake. We stayed in site #2 and did not hear any noise from the road above at night but maybe if you are in a tent you will. Plenty of space to walk the dogs. Garbage and recycling bins everywhere. T-Mobile had 2-3 bars and over 100 Mbps download speed in 4G and over 600 Mbps in 5G. AT&T only showed SOS with no data.

There are only a few sites here. It was very quiet and peaceful. We walked the trail in the morning, it was interesting to see the lake at a low level. The camp host left us a pile of firewood to burn.

The area is quite beautiful, and its a very short walk down to the cove (great if you've got a boat). There was a walking loop around the point that was nice, maybe 2-3km long. We pulled in around 3pm, so we felt daylight was running out and wanted a place to stop for the night (we have a 1yr old so.....)
HOWEVER, it cost more than expected (I guess prices have gone up since the last review), we paid $20 for the night. No hook ups/sani, and the bathrooms did not even have soap. There were some drinking water faucets but nothing we could refill our fresh water tank with.
No cell service.
The sites are quite small!! We have a 17' trailer and had to angle in our f-150 to not stick out of the site.
Way too close to the Interstate for my liking - probably only 100m or less down from the north bound lane, and a train passed by at some point too. I wore earplugs and they somewhat helped....
Despite it being a picturesque area, I probably still wouldn't stay unless I was in a pinch.

There aren't any hookups. And the road leading to the campground was very windy and narrow at places. We were a bit nervous with out 27' so I would think larger rigs might be even more tight.
If we didn't have to have service for work we would have stayed and enjoyed the campground.
Our Sprint cell phones did not have service nor did our Verizon Mifi inside the actual campground. However, when we pulled into the parking lot right outside the campground we were able to get two bars on Verizon.
