Hidden gem, on top of the mountain, quiet very peaceful, very clean well kept camp site. Spent 3 nights there July 19-22. 2023, we have a class C 24 ft, had no issues getting there, great owner, would recommend to anyone looking to get away for a quiet peaceful camping experience, will definitely return

Beautiful campground in the mountains of WV. Eber is a phenomenal host, good for conversation! Perfect for a good unplug. Travels in are a little slow moving but definitely worth it.

Very spic-&-span clean, absolutely no sign of previous campers left behind, vault bathrooms were clean & always stocked w/ tp, sanitizer, & individual trash cans, even our fire pit was clean of all previous fire debris & ashes. The owner Eber was so nice & when we made reservations on the phone, offered directions for the best route & ... more
Very spic-&-span clean, absolutely no sign of previous campers left behind, vault bathrooms were clean & always stocked w/ tp, sanitizer, & individual trash cans, even our fire pit was clean of all previous fire debris & ashes. The owner Eber was so nice & when we made reservations on the phone, offered directions for the best route & then also called prior to our arrival to make sure we had all the info we needed. He also came by the campground daily to check everything & see if we needed anything. The campground is small & intimate, but we never felt cramped & other campers were respectful & quiet-- we're people that have always preferred very private primitive campsites away from other campers, so to say we weren't bothered in the least says alot! The full RV hookups were easily accessible, in good condition, & worked great, & the fresh water was clean & potable. If you like remote camping, you'll love this place! Be prepared for it to be a little scary going up the mountain w/ an RV, but not many vehicles travel the road & the locals know how to drive it to help make room for you. Highly recommend this place & we plan on returning.

My wife and I stayed here for a week in August of 2021 with our 2 dogs. I was so glad we chose this campground with full hookups since it was scorching hot that week. The owner, Eber and his family, were wonderful hosts. We will definitely stay here again!
