“Windy, wide open and lots of room.”

Reviewed Apr 27, 2019

Overall Rating

Great place if you don’t mind a little wind. If your tent camping make sure you have a tent that can hold up to gusts and wind. Right on the lake. With your National Park Pass it’s free. Otherwise it’s 20.00.

Great boondocking spot. Right on the lake, free with your national parks pass. $10 to dump. Lots of hiking and off-roading around. Big rigs friendly.

“Free lakeside camping! ”

Reviewed May 18, 2018

Overall Rating

We arrived here on Easter weekend to find the shore packed with RVs, tents, and boats. Instead of cramming in with the masses we happily found a spot away from the shore and settled in to enjoy the view. By Monday, the place had cleared out and we enjoyed a very peaceful week. Not only is it free to camp here (with a national park ... more

“Windsurfing area on lake with amenities”

Reviewed Feb 16, 2018

Overall Rating

This is a prime windsurfing area right on Lake Isabella. The campground offers toilets, drinking water, trash cans, and a dump. It is very close to the town of Lake Isabella if you need to get anything. Cell service is great here. There is plenty of room for any size rig to fit here, just be careful of loose sand. This area is not f... more

“Beautiful area!”

Reviewed Nov 25, 2017

Overall Rating

It is November 25, sunset & 71 degrees. All of this is wrong since we are from northern Idaho! The sunset was absolutely beautiful! Our site is level, with a table and fire pit. There are 10 trailers/rv’s at the shoreline with campfires. A little road noise, but the view makes up for it. When we pulled in the station had prices listed.... more
