You can get there no problem. I'd go straight down to the lake and park, then walk around the campsites. If you don't find one you can fit in, they let you camp in the parking lot until one opens up.

The roads were well maintained as of 2019. We would have been very comfortable driving our 40' MH to and around the campground.
