Overall Rating

This is a great campground near I-20, but quiet as it sits back in the woods a bit. Spacious sites, large fishing lake, camp store, laundry, and rental pavilion. Being updated and amenities added. Will definitely camp again this summer.

We were going to stay one night on our way home to Fort Worth, TX. The campground is very remote one of the reasons we chose it to get away from the Interstate noise. Overall Rating

This is a country lot. The access road from I20 starts with "End State Maintenance" and leads to 2 miles of passable paved road. Entry to the campground is over uneven dirt road for about 1/4 of a mile, passing over a low earthen dam, one lane.
