I had a great experience! Beautiful spot by the lake, about 7 other groups also there camping (on a Monday) two RVs and others car/tent camping. Plenty of space for everyone to be spread out from one another. Beautiful sunset over the water and full moon reflecting off it at night. A bit of a drive in on gravel road, takes about 30 minutes to get there from Hwy 2. Pass by many beautiful large cattle ranches and vacation homes. Definitely worth a visit, would have loved to stay a couple more days.

The main circle around the campground is not paved, and not maintained at all, so getting our teardrop in there was tricky. Drive slow, have a spotter to help you back up, you'll be fine. Nice beach, great swimming and fishing. There is a site reserved for a camp host, but I've never seen a camp host there. Every time I've ever been to this campground, we've had to spend about a half hour cleaning up before setting up our camp. Being that this gem of a lake is only twenty minutes from Kalispell, the lake is a popular party spot for teenagers, and they rarely clean up after themselves. Some of the sites were missing number posts, we found ours laying in the bushes near our site, probably the victim of the aforementioned partiers. Seems to be busy all week long during the summers. Get there in the early afternoon on week days, and you shouldn't have a problem getting a camp site. Weekends can be impossible.

There was no camp host at the time we were there. All 6 sites were full in late July on a beautiful Saturday by tenters and a small truck camper.
It is a very small campground with a circular drive that was not in very good shape. Had we had our truck camper, we would have been doing a lot of swaying around that drive.
We did check out the boat launch area. It was busy with families, kayaks and paddle boards. Several boats and jet skis were launching. It is a beautiful lake that was very clear.
