We did not expect much from this "park" nor did we find much. The Panhandle fills up very early in the winter and all of the beautiful state parks and lovely RV parks fill up practically a year in advance. There was nothing available for a reasonable rate, so we opted to try this location. It's $40 per night and you get half-off for 3 nights with your Passport America discount membership. The location is wonderful, though it is not on the beach, it is one mile up the road from a beautiful beach. We fell in love with the Santa Rosa Beach area. Great access to everywhere...it's between Seaside and Destin, right off of the 30A. The stables and front of this property are beautiful and landscaped quite well. The problem with this property is that there is a little plot at the back of the property where 20 FHU sites have been squished together (presumably for those traveling with their horses)...most of these spots are filled with long-term tenants with dilapitated RV's and several have junk strewn around them. One of our neighbors was a single man who was a bit on the creepy side. It was a perk to have a law enforcement officer living in one unit. I truly didn't care that location did not have any amenities, as we just wanted to budget friendly parking. This location could be a fabulous option for RVer's if the "campground" area was cleaned up a bit. The also have the dumpster next to the RV's and believe it or not, a trash truck drives back there at 6:00 am to empty it...pretty early and loud. It's also on a small dirt road, nothing crazy, just not paved. This place has great potential though. It also rents out the barn area to a church on Sunday mornings...and it houses a fabulous non-denominational service.
