Armistice Park

Yes, it is out of nowhere, but close to two small fishermen’s village, Conche and Englee. I think that, since being in the area, these two are a must see. The campground itself was clean and, as previously stated, there was only 20 amps hookups and no water. Still no attendance but there was a board explaining how to make your payment, wich is proof of the kind of people you will meet in this area, kind, generous and trustworthy. The price is still $20. for the serviced sites and $10 for unserviced. As for cell coverage, we had 3 bars LTE with Bell and Vidéotron.

This is a municipal campground with only 20 amp sites 8 of them plus 2 tent sites. Water and dump in town of Bide Arm which a kilometre away. No attendant at the park and fees are paid in Roddrickton about 6 kilometres away at the municipal building, no signage in campground to tell you this. The campground Is in need of some maintenance but since it is off the beaten path thinking not many go there I suspect as we were the only ones there for the two days and when we went to pay they were not sure on how to take the payment. Loots of hiking trails right from the park and a visit to the underground salmon pond is a must. There was 4 bars on the cell but no WiFi in the campground so you need to have your own data plan.
