The park is clean and has nice large sites. There are fire rings, a play ground and severally bathroom/ shower facilities. The drainage is weird in the showers and there’s not much place to put your stuff. Other thank that- a great stay.

That’s basically 40 a day for a couple people. The showers are luke warm and push button style. Should be a little more user friendly for 40 a night. Still a nice park, but should be a little price break for campers.

This park has been around for a few years, but was completely re-modeled in 2019. It is awesome. Currently there are 18 RV sites with electric and water, but it looks like they have plans to build more campsites. Each site is built on a large gravel pad. This is perfect to keep dirt and mud out of your RV or tent. Each site also has a picnic table, stand up grill, fire pit and lantern/trash post. There is a fair amount of space between sites and many are surrounded by cedar trees for some privacy and shade. Our site 4 had shade on the picnic table in the morning, but was completely sunny in the afternoon and evening. This park has free wifi! Site 4 is right across from the router, so the wifi was fairly strong. We were also only a 5 minute walk to the lake. The lake is great, but wear your water shoes. Rocks and zebra mussles will get you. We absolutely loved this park. Not a lot of campers or people, so it was not crowded. I think once people start catching on to how awesome this park is though, I think it will be booked. Oh booking is not easy to do online. They have an archaic website that doesnt use Safari or Chrome. You might have to find an old computer with Explorer to do the booking. Also, when you check in, its cash or check only.

Can't see the lake from campsites, but nearby trails go along it. Nice ADA trail, picnic areas and kids zone. Quiet during our weekday stay. Friendly staff. Park is a little out of the way, at the entrance to the Hill Country, but a nice break from Austin. Park is still under construction; more sites to be added to the 18 here now. Rate is $30 day, plus $5 pp daily rate. Cash or check.
Tip: Lowes food market and gas station convenience stores nearby. Good shopping in Leander 1/2 hour away: HEB plus, Lowes, Leander Laundry and car wash.

The park is very nicely updated. Camp sites are clean and perfectly leveled. Lots of bath houses available. The park also has a nice ADA trail, brand new playground, and lots of picnic spots.
