We stopped in Arapahoe to visit friends while traveling to Iowa for family. We were hesitant to stay here due to the location next to the train track, but decided to give it a try. We were impressed with this park. We had full hookups for $20 a night. The restroom/shower was clean and well cared for. The park is well maintained. There is even a lending library. There is an excellent walking path and frisbee golf course around that encompass the park. The only drawback was the noise. The trains are quite loud and the trucks on the highway were also very loud. Noise aside, we will not hesitate to stay here again.

Three other campers when we stayed on 6/21/2022. Water was shut off during the night; we should have filled our tank when the sprinklers were on. Will know better in the future. Restrooms were clean. We went to NE to pick up our new home-to-be travel trailer. After hooking it up and heading home to KS, we began experiencing car trouble. Ended up staying the night. It was our first RV experience. Got up the next morning and the car started. We were able to get home safely. We were impressed with the park. Very nice and easy to pay and hook up. Our chihuahua got introduced to our new home and did very good, too. The locals are probably used to it and probably don’t hear the train. The train runs through right next to the park 4 times last night and blew the horn. Other than that it was great‼️

Very nice little park and campground. 9 sites total with concrete pads. 5 back in and 4 pull thru with w/e. Two of the pull thru’s are FHU. Clean bathrooms and showers. Dump station is available. $15.00 a night. Park has a walking trail with exercise machines every so often around it. I guess they’re for people who need more than a brisk walk. There’s a small grocery store and restaurant right up the street. I think there’s a Dollar General also. Everyone we met was very friendly. Railroad tracks are right behind park but only one train went by the entire time we were there. Great place for an overnighter with a great price. We will definitely stay here again when traveling through.
