Arrived on a Sunday around noon. Although the campground is operating at fifty percent capacity: we had no trouble getting a spot. Be prepared to get creative with leveling on some of the spots (but we knew that before we got here). Also, there are no hookups, so bring a generator. Stayed at Apache Campground for one week at the beginning of July 2020. Campground was at 50% capacity due to COVID-19 restrictions. Campground Host "Tom" was fantastic. This place is simply amazing. Each space is separated with huge pine trees and feels secluded. Each space has a nice fire ring and picnic table (all was spotless when we got here) A walking trail surrounds the park and is perfect for beginners or children.
