So much space in this travel center parking lot. There were half dozen trucks and rvs but still quiet picked up brochures and there were vending machines.

Slept here with no issues. Felt safe. We parked in the auto section horizontally in front of one of the picnic areas. Plenty of trash cans.

We spent the night and asked if we could put out our slides, they said yes as long as they weren't in the way. They were not a problem. Quiet and peaceful and we needed to run our generator for a few hours and with the trucks in the truck section the noise was not a problem. We've been hesitant to stay at a rest area in the past, but this one is a game changer. Specific spaces for RV parking (many of them that were level and plenty long for most any setup. TX allows 24 hour stays at all improved roadside locations like picnic areas and this welcome center. Separate space for RVs (next to trucks but at least not in their lot) with a large number of spots. Bottle filler drinking fountain and restrooms available 24 hours. Security on-site. Nice overnight stay.

Clean, well lite and the noise isn’t that bad... 24 hour bathrooms. No problem with being crowded, there are 3 places for parking - 1 for cars, and then 2 big areas for RVs & big rigs. We would stay again instead of stopping at campground.

No hookups but a free overnight stop which was easy in and out. Texas allows 24 hours at any rest area. Some road noise but very little traffic in rest area. It was nearly empty all night with us as the only RV. There's separate parking for cars, RVs, and trucks. FWIW a minimum security federal prison is behind the parking area.

Tons of space for even large RVs, separated from another large area for truck parking. There is a slope, and it's one-way in and out, but this place was relatively quiet and really nice for a quick night on the road. (WAY better than the Walmarts nearby.)
