This is our #1 campground, of hundreds we have stayed at. It’s an effort to climb the rv to 8250 feet, but Oh My is it worth it. The other reviews capture the highlights, there are no downsides. There is something about the place that makes everyone friendly, including fellow campers.

Quiet, clean, large level pull through concrete pads. Landscaping, amenities and building are just top notch. You can't go wrong here. 1st class place for sure

If you're traveling in this part of the world then you owe it to yourself to stay here. Everything feels new, works great, and the staff is excellent. Bathrooms are spotless, showers are huge, and the laundry facilities are excellent. The common spaces are well maintained and they have live music several times a week as well as other events. Angel Fire is a pretty sleepy town so you'll need to come prepared to find things to do. Hiking around Angel Fire is ok but not great, but if you're a flat-water kayaker (like us), Lake Eagle Nest is excellent. Met some great folks who gave us suggestions for entertainment such as watching Michael Martin Murphy at the 3M Ranch, Bluegrass Jam in Taos and others. If you want to slow down and relax, this is a perfect spot and the weather in July is near perfect.
P.S. WiFi is excellent and fast.

The spots are well maintained, and the amenities are nice. Our small dogs were in heaven in the spacious dog run. We stayed during the week, so we missed out on the waffle breakfast they serve on weekends. It is just a short drive to Angel Fire village, where there are several restaurants.

This was the nicest, most well planned campground we have stayed at so far. It was immaculate. There were 3 comfort houses with laundry (ours had 8 brand new sets) great bathrooms more like a luxury hotel than campground. Also a giant gas fire put, inside lounge area with computer station and a double hot-tub. There was another station like ours plus a much larger lodge that I think has food options in season. We stayed at the end of April so it was VERY quiet and too windy and cold to take advantage of the pickle ball courts, horseshoe pits, tether ball and more. There is also a big fenced dog run for those with pets.
Almost all the sites are pull thru and huge. Nicely spaced from other sites. Much wider than the average rv park. Trees and green space between every site. All the sites are also newly paved and level. Although it’s pricey we will for sure be back if in the area again. The staff was the icing on the cake. The park was almost empty but there was someone there whenever we needed assistance. Exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Really can’t say enough good things about this place!

There is a 1 1/4 mile walking trail along the permitter of the park that has beautiful landscaping as well as spectacular views of the mountains. The lodge provides a great place to hangout and they provide games and big screen TVs. We stayed here for 7 nights in October and they had special Octoberfest events all week. They even delivered fresh made waffles to our door 3 mornings in a row. That is the ultimate in customer service. The wifi was strong enough to stream movies from Netflix.

Angel Fire is the best of the best! Over Labor Day, from our unobstructed view of mountains, wildflower meadows and pine forest (site 704), we were serenaded nightly by elks bugling. The campground is meticulously landscaped and FULL of flowers (posting a photo because it’s unbelievable). From the Clubhouse, we enjoyed free afternoon snowcones and evening S’mores around the fire pit. Sign up to have waffles delivered to your doorstep for breakfast (free, again). Play Pickleball. Listen to live music. Soak in the hot tub. The place is authentically a resort, unlike any campground we’ve ever visited. And Angel Fire must be where they invented the name “Enchanted Circle”— because the valley is just magical.

So much to do in The Enchanted Circle!!!...hiking, biking, fishing, rafting, ATVing, horse riding....plus one of North Americas best mtn bike parks! The park is nice, but poor cell service...for a resort like park. Wifi works decent. We eventually moved to a park in Taos as it served as a better Basecamp to explore The Enchanted Circle, was much cheaper and Taos has so much more to offer in 10 mins.

“Bad experience”

Scammish!! I called the Angel Fire Ski Resort to ask if they allow overnight parking for RV's and they said yes, but would need to call another number. The number she gave was the number to Angel Fire RV Resort. I spoke with the lady to let her know I'd like to stay a few nights and she took my credit card for reservation. About an hour later I discovered the RV park is about 6 miles from the ski resort so I kindly called back to let her know there was a mix up and that I was looking to stay at the resort or at the very least, closer to the resort and asked for a refund....after refusing the refund I asked why the ski resort said they allowed overnight parking and gave me her number...her response was that the owner of the ski resort owns the rv park so the staff is trained to deceive you. After calling around I found a better RV park which was much closer and the owner gave me a credit to cover being ripped off from Angel Fire RV Resort...if you're planning to go to Angel Fire, Monte Verde RV Resort is the best option especially if you want to camp close to the mountain.
