We had a long day of driving and needed to take a break and plug in due to cold weather. We saw the recommendation for this spot- easy in and out . Free hook ups ( there was the option for a donation which we happily put in the box) . Some loud car noise but nothing horrible . We wish there were more places like this!

This was a great overnight stop on our route to Carlsbad Caverns. The lot was well lit, spotless and quiet at night. There was a smell of oil upon arrival but we didn’t notice it again until morning when we turned our fan on. We did have an issue using the 15amp cord to our shore power. The receptacle at the site was tied to a 15amp circuit breaker but appeared to only accept a 20amp plug.
It was so convenient to fill up our water jugs here and empty our grey tank and trash. AT&T was only one bar and slow so we had to boost.
Since we arrived after hours we checked in to register before leaving in the morning.
The town of Andrews has many stores, restaurants, gas and other amenities.

I can confirm all the other positive things other reviewers have said, I can also confirm that… I woke up at 2 AM from the fumes from the oils fields and simply had to leave. If you are faint of nose, have a sensitive schnoz, I would not recommend this place. It smelled fine when I arrived, but soon the air was drenched in this horrible odor in the middle of the night. If you have some fancy RV air-conditioning, you just might be fine. If you are simple van dweller like me, you should definitely consider what I’ve described.

Arrived on a Saturday evening. A couple of spots were available. Pull in, plug in and life is good. Nicest free spot i have found. Food and fuel are close by. Did I mention it was free?!

Clean, well lit, dumpster all you need to do is register at office. We got there at night so signed in when they opened. The folks in the office were friendly and helpful. We did take out at a local place, food was good. We were off the main strip in town, lots of businesses to access. The CofC has a an awesome war memorial near the campers, worth to view. If we had time would had stayed more time to explore the area. Definitely one to keep on our campsite list.

The absolute only downside is no view but ... that’s not the point here!

This was absolutely one of the best experiences with a free spot that we’ve found. Thank you to the Chamber of Commerce for the accommodations! There are about six spots with electric (30/50) and water hookups on a large black asphalt pad. There is a dump at the entrance. Come in the first lot opening behind the building and pull through any available spot. One rookie had come in backward and was taking up two spots the night we were there. Thankfully, the fifth wheel that came in later in the evening was kind enough to avoid an argument, but did ask the guy to move. Backward guy obliged by just moving his hookups, but was still taking up too much space. 🙄 Regardless, this was a convenient spot and a stellar, clean, LEVEL experience....for FREE!
