Would a 40' fifth wheel be able to fit here? Thinking about overhanging trees too.

“You must have a permit to stay here!”

This looked like a great spot from the pictures so we thought we’d give it a try. You first need to get a $20 permit and since it is air force property I would not risk skipping g this step. The permits are available on isportsmen.net but the process is daunting. You have to download a map, watch a short video and take a quiz. Then you are taken to the page where there is a list of permits that you can purchase online. When we got clear through the hunting, fishing and gathering (seriously, moss and antler shed) options there is an exception to camping permits. These must be optioned via another route. So we left. 8 miles down the road there is a nice little state park called Fred Gannon Rocky Bayou State Park for $17. Stay there instead and save yourself some trouble.
