While dry camping in Anacortes last summer, a neighboring camper told us about the Anacortes Wastewater Treatment Plant dump station. We have since used it several times and it is very nice! And free! And open. We have only waited in line one time.

There’s also free potable water just around the corner at the administration building. The lot is a bit tight so larger rigs may have problems maneuvering into position if the parking lot happens to be full. The spigot wasn’t obvious so we went inside to ask. It’s to the right of the front door just around the corner under a small blue sign that says, “please be kind, rewind.”
