Amsden Meadows Campground

I didn't actually stay here because there's no way I would try to get my 32' Class A in there. I did go in with my ATV and it was magnificent. The views are totally awesome. Make no mistake, it's somewhat remote camping without a 10 mile hike to get to it and is doable with the right vehicle. I was shocked to get in there and find an Audi all-wheel drive station wagon parked there. The road in is TIGHT with low branches and ruts, but that Audi...?
I wouldn't be thinking about pulling a trailer either because there are some tight turns to go with the tight road. The photos are from a video I took of the place and as you can see. It's properly called Amsden Creek.

Lots of branches along the way that hit my pick up truck so my travel trailer could not possibly make it. There’s a big gate you have to go through with a very tight turn that I could not make with my 24 foot travel trailer. Hi Clarence only. At the location there is the turnaround and that’s the only place to camp as far as I could understand the regulations. Lots and lots of cows in the field next-door. So a couple of turkeys.
