Arrived late evening after grabbing some dinner. Bathrooms open 24 hours and are very clean. It is by the interstate, but we didn't hear any noise. The couple in the van next to us were from Canada, and they were impressed with the stay.

Arrived after 6:00 p.m. in late October, 2023. Saw other RVs and camper vans so I parked in that area. Was amazed by the new, clean, spacious restroom with outdoor access as the information center was closed for the night. When they opened in the morning, the outside entrance to the restrooms was closed and I had to enter the information center to access the restrooms. But that was fine. There was a very nice walking area behind the rest area. There was some highway noise but not bad. The area felt safe and I appreciated the free night!

We pulled in just after dark. It was a nice level parking lot. No noise beyond the expected noise for this kind of place. Very clean. Restroom opened 24 hours.

Excellent facility. Super nice and clean restrooms open 24 hours. Large parking area far enough away from Highway that noise wasn’t bad. Beautiful facility and grounds with lots of picnic areas and dog walk space. Can’t beat the price- free!

We found this great place when coming into Amarillo. Right off the highway with separate parking for RVs. Very impressed with the cleanliness , especially restrooms. The place was so well kept. Would stay again!

Lots of activity while we were there every other hour of the night. Only the bathrooms are open after 6pm so ensure you have potable water when you arrive. Lots of critters running around (grasshoppers/locusts, praying mantises, moths, frogs, toads) along with many warning signs for rattlesnakes.

About 10 rv pull thru spaces. Well lite, off the beaten path but easy to get too and SAFE!! Clean bathrooms and about 8 other RVs staying here. Easy for all rigs but maybe the largest triple axle fivers.

We really love this area it was nice and clean. Had a Texas feel to it. Our 45 foot towed with the jeep fit no problem and they had a couple of dog areas. 👌

Surprisingly not as noisy as you would think with the 40 being close by and trucks coming and going all night. The only down side is that if you have a 4 legged friend with you there is little to no grass and there is a lot of goat heads to get in there feet. Other then that we would stay here again.
