“Weird site layout, but nice park!”

Reviewed Feb 09, 2019

We stayed here for 9 or so nights as we waited out snowy weather in New Mexico (Jan/Feb). The park itself looks like the roads were paved out for it to be a housing neighborhood. There are curbs and cul-de-sacs and the RV sites are in between the roads. The sites are either VERY long pull-throughs or two spacious back-ins. Because of t... more

Very nice management staff and helpful. Overnight ears are usually pull through spots which were level although neede some extra gravel to cover up mud as it had been raining. Three grassy dog parks, small to larger. Laundry a bit pricey but we’re front loaders. Showers decent enough. Some sidewalks were a bit uneven so be careful. ... more

“A little pricey, but great service”

I stopped here for 3 days to avoid high winds in NM. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The site was okay, if a little barren fine gravel and no trees. The park is owned by the same folks who own the The Big Texan Steak Ranch so free rides are offered if you want to have dinner there. The water pressure is very high so be sur... more

“A little over priced for just an overnight”

Reviewed May 13, 2018

Overall this is a well kept park and they cater to families with kids with an indoor pool and a nice playground. Our furry kids enjoyed the grassy dog park, although one preferred the gravel area since the grass was high and she's a princess. Overall, it's a nice park. We normally stay at Overnight RV on the other side of town. It's... more

Pulled in for a night - staff was friendly, but sites were packed together - we could have asked our neighbors for a cup of sugar without leaving the rig. Full hookups, WiFi and cable if you want it.

Several dog parks for the poochies and pay laundry on-site. Easy on/off from the highway.

“Outstanding Service Makes a Difference”

Reviewed Mar 22, 2018

This place is not an ordinary RV Park off the interstate. The whole experience is outstanding, from a friendly greeting at check-in by Ms. Janet, free limo ride to the steak house, and free donuts and coffee in the morning! Cute ranch style decor and a clean park! Only complaint is highway noise, but that’s to be expected when you’... more

Super easy stop off I-40, fun to watch for the signs along I-40 advertizing the park and the steak house as we approached. The Amarillo Ranch RV Park doesn't have the prettiest sites, but the amenities made this a great stop for an overnight stay while traveling cross country on I-40.
