Very nice campground. Super accommodating. We were driving through off season and was able to book a night. Very quiet, lovely lakefront. Sunset was great. Would love to stay during the summer. Majority sites are seasonal.

The roads are all tiny crush stone and made a complete mess on our tires and tracked inside our rig after rain (which it seemed to do all season). Lots were grass and decent size. We have a 41’ & tow behind. Only one vehicle allowed to park at your lot. Other vehicles must park in the excess lot. Any visitor that happens to drive to your site and park for 5 minutes will be spoken to by the owner.
Owner is watching everyone like a hawk. $5/pp for visitors which I don’t have an issue with. But when a visitor parks and they are chased down by the owner to pay before they even have a chance to walk to the office is aggravating.
Speed limit is 5 mph through the park which is acceptable BUT if you have kids riding their bikes, the same rule applies.
Speaking of kids, there is a pool and a couple cornhole boards but that’s it. There are no activities here at all, no store on-site so anytime you need something, you’ll need to go to the Dollar General a few miles away. Closest grocery store is 20 minutes. The park has a large amount of park models owned by mostly Canadians from Quebec. Not one returned a “hello” to us, acting like they didn’t speak English so walking around was depressing.
Cell service was horrible but this is a fact through the entire state of VT.
If you like quiet and want to unplug and have no visitors and no amenities, this is the place for you. We were here from May-September and my happiest day was when we pulled out, never to return again!

This is a lovely campground right on the lake with a fantastic pool but the owner is an issue. I agree with rules and happily adhere but this guy was on a power trip. This is a lovely campground right on the lake with a fantastic pool but the owner is an issue. I agree with rules and happily adhere but this guy was on a power trip. So you know I’m not over reacting here are some examples (no cleaning the pool, no snorkels in the pool, no hitting tennis balls on the shuffleboard courts, no hanging towels to dry while at the pool...). The water hook-up is horrible. I don’t recommend drinking it unless boiled. We stayed during COVID so the park was basically empty and WiFi worked great during the day but some how stops in the evening to nothing at all. We stayed as long as we did because my kids loved the pool and made friends but we made a decision to move on because of the owner. I don’t think he likes customers.
Tmd3 would stay here again
