{Dates Stayed: 04/10-13/2023} Made reservations 3-days before so we ended up with a 30-amp service which was ok for a pull-through. As KOA Members, it was not much of an issue. We didn't stay in camp very much as we needed to re-provision and check out the area. The park is typical KOA with the usual things to do there. It was clean & accessible. There is some road/street noise as the park is located mostly in an industrial area and I-25 is not very far. As we needed to unhook to explore, the site was uneven between the truck & trailer and when hooking back up we needed to raise the front of the truck with our Anderson levelers in order to match the stinger-receiver to the Hensley hitch on the trailer.

very close together (your picnic table has neighbors sewer cap next to it, as is yours on the other side), clean, friendly staff, felt comfortable, wifi rarely worked but cell was fine, site was level for rv and dropped downward for tow vehicle, conveniently located off highway.

Stayed in the standard pull thru site with sewer and pull thru site without sewer hookups. Personally like the sites without sewer better as they seem more spacious. Some good mountain biking is close by so this location is convenient for that. Staff were friendly and overall the campground was clean.

We stayed here for the 10 days that we attended the Balloon Fiesta in Oct of 2022 and it seemed to be a standard KOA but very expensive! Our site hadn’t been inspected or cleaned when we arrived since the whole space was covered in dog waste. The staff was super friendly and responsive though, cleaning it thoroughly 5 minutes after I contacted them. We left early and came in late each evening (that the balloon fiesta wasn’t called off for rain) so I didn’t explore much of the park or the amenities. I would return but not for this 10 days in October! Verizon Down: 14.13mbps Up: 2.90 mbps Streaming: 4.5mbps AT&T Down: 8.12mbps Up: 9.61mbps Streaming: 4.0mbps
If you are in town for the Balloon Fiesta, plan to go for the whole week. It took us 8 out of the 10 days to see a whole day because of weather. It is worth it to buy the tickets for the bus. We saved a little money and they loaded and unloaded the buses very quickly. If they cancel the event due to rain, you can use your entrance tickets as a rain check but you MUST purchase BUS ONLY tickets again.
HOW TO FIND THE BUS ONLY TICKETS: The link to buy the bus tickets only on their website is very difficult to find. Go to: https://balloonfiesta.ticketspice.com/tickets then click on the + next to Chaser’s Club tickets. This opens the options and you will find Park & Ride Bus Only tickets and the price.

There are a lot of staff around, and all seemed very friendly. The bathrooms were clean and cleaned every day. The sites are the typical KOA parallel sites. While they are pretty close together, it was not awful. I think we had one of the nicest sites with two beautiful shade trees. You can walk to a pub next door for a beer and some pizza. The park is close to I-25 but highway noise was not bad. It's located in Bernalillo which is a bit north of Albuquerque, but the city is easily reached in a few minutes. Bernalillo is a neat little older town which boasts the original Range Cafe a popular local eatery. All in all not a bad campground. The only negative was the wifi was definitely hit or miss.

We had stayed at this park before and found it be be a nice older, park, with a little bit of wear on it. Sites are close to your neighbor, but allow opening slides on both sides. Site was crushed granite, with a small pad of synthetic grass installed years and tears ago, and a picnic table being held up by the many paint coats, as much as the wood..
it was nice enough, secure and water, sewer and electricity worked. The cable did not work, but we were able to bet good local service on the antenna.
Good security with a fence around the entire park. We didn’t hear the Highway noise, as some folks did. Our site was quiet.
Close to our favorite Mexican restaurant in ABQ, El Pinto…Try it, you will like it.
BTW, rate shown is for regular weekdays. Balloon Fiesta rates, if you can get in, triple.

Stayed for 1 night as a stopover. Crowded but most people were doing the same thing. Clean, no power issues. Our site was a ‘patio’ site but that’s really just a picnic table. We walked to the brewery next door for dinner. Will likely use as a stopover agin.

Stayed here two nights. The campground is quiet, clean, and well maintained. Staff was friendly.
They advertised upgraded WiFi but the internet connection to that WiFi is very intermittent. Could not send or receive email which is important to us.

Otherwise clean and easy to navigate. Wish the pool stayed open beyond dusk. Friendly check in. Great location for visiting ABQ and Santa Fe.
