Such a beautiful place! It seems the wildflowers peak around July 4th, but I have been in awe of them in Aug and Sept. Moose visits campground frequently.

Lovely daytime temps with nice breeze in August. Nice cool nights. Needed a jacket.

Many of the spots are a bit short for RVs. #9 is longer with an amazing view, but lots of hikers going up the trail within sight. Every spot is nice.

Hike to Cecret Lake from campground. About 1 mile and moderate. Beautiful scenery. Explain to kids ahead of time that they can't play in the water. Salamanders were all over in early August.

Fairly steep drive into the canyon, dirt road with a few dips to access campground.

Nearby Snow Bird ski resort offers fun but pricey summer activities (alpine slide) that are a fun way to end your trip with kids.
