We had planned for a quick overnight but stayed longer in the morning, enjoying coffee under the cottonwood trees and taking a needed break from driving. Very relaxing and safe feeling. (Noticed Police and city maintenance crews were around during the day.)
Donation based, we used site closest to info station with water and 30 amp. Dump station on north end of park by the dog park.

Arrived after 10pm the first time and around 11:30pm the second time. Plenty of sites available on Wednesday night but only 1 on Friday night. We didn’t use the electricity either night. Tried to use the bathroom once but the door wouldn’t lock so it didn’t feel safe. Envelopes for donation are in a small information booth right next to a prime site making you feel like you’re invading their campsite. Overall an excellent place to make a quick overnight.

Small city run campground. Most sites are pull through and have water and electric. Payment is by donation. Has level concrete parking pads, picnic tables and BBQ grills. Dog park on site and dump station at north entrance. Easy in and out for our 40 foot fifth wheel. Some road noise.

Elec fine, bathrooms extremely basic and just sink and toilet. Was fun to walk up to the airport at sunset and look out over the runway at sunset. Dog park was too muddy to use but had SM and LG dog sides and was clean. Highway noise is CONSTANT and LOUD. Kept TV on to drown it out. Very quiet and fairly full campground.

Cons: some of the sites were pretty unlevel, we lucked into the last 50 amp site and it was OK.
According to the posted sign at the information kiosk: overnight stays are first come, first served for up to 7 nights on a donation basis. (I thought $20/night was a fair donation)
Long term stays up to 8 weeks are available on a permit basis for $100/week. I guess you would need to contact the City of Concordia in advance for that.
All in all a nice little park for a stopover or a few days to check out the area.

Wonderful donation only campground run by the city of Concordia. We had a long pull through site with 50 amp service. It was snowy and bitterly cold so we were glad for the power. A few more rigs pulled in after us. This is a great place to stop when traveling north south through Kansas. Our 20 amp gfci on the power pole was tripped so we had to use the one for the empty neighbor site. We had screaming fast Verizon data 25-30 down and 10-15 up with no booster

The park also has a very nice disc golf course and dog park.
Walmart is right across the highway, and the rest of town is easily accessible by bike. They have a quaint downtown area and a nice city park in town with a pool and playground.
The highway noise wasn’t bad except for quite a lot of trucks engine braking when coming into town.
