Aiken RV Park

This RV park was a pleasant surprise. We needed an overnight stop when returning from vacation and decided to stop here for the night. It was reasonably priced (offered a military discount), clean, and easy access to a pull through spot. They have concrete tire pads, electric, water, and sewer hookups. There is a picnic table and shelter at each site. There is a separate mens and women's restroom and bath (single person use). They had a well kept playground, basketball hoop, horseshoe pit, and sitting area with hammock. It’s across the street from a small airport, but we didn’t have any issue with aircraft noise. The host was very nice and even walked us to our site. We will definitely stop here again if we are passing through the area.

Like many places, they had some longterm RVs as well, but they are in a separate section from the short-term campers. Made it much easier to get in and out.

Super friendly owner greeted me upon arrival and helped me get parked in my campsite. Campground is neat and orderly. About 3/4 of the trailers are long term, some of which have full time residents. everyone was very quiet, making this a peaceful stay. I felt very safe. The owner has a lot of pride of ownership and is constantly giving attention to the campground. The men’s and women’s bathrooms have one sink, one toilet, one shower. They were recently remodeled and are cleaned daily. Wifi was good except later in evening it slowed down. everyone must be using the wifi at the same time, which is common at most campgrounds. Laundry room is currently free for guests but soon will go to coin operated. Campground is located about 15 minutes from downtown Aiken. I would stay here again.
